Hygrophila Corymbosa "Aroma"

Under water Hygrophila corymbosa “Aroma” has very
long, narrow and elegant leaves which are grouped close
together. When cultivated above water, it has relatively
short, hairy leaves. It is distinctive due to its strong
aroma (hence the name).
Hygrophila corymbosa "Stricta" is an
unpretentious plant suitable for large aquariums. The color
of the leaves varies from light-green to red-brown at high
light intensities. This plant is also suitable for open
top aquariums where it likes to pierce the water surface
to set beautiful blue flowers. The growth of this plant
benefits from a nutrient rich substrate in combination
with CO2 addition and high light, and under such
conditions the plant soon attains a beautiful stature. In
a dense population the plant often looses the lower leaves
because of insufficient light, nevertheless, most
decorative in groups.
