Aponogeton Ulvaceus

Aponogeton ulvaceus is a stout
plant which demands large tanks with a good amount of
water surface. The leaves are translucent, bright green
with a narrowed leaf base. As many other Aponogetons this
plant requires a period of rest. In winter cut off the
roots and leaves and put it into unwashed sand in
flowerpots in cold water for two months in a dark place.
Or less circumstantial, place the tuber in a flowerpot on
the windowsill together with a ordinary plant which never
dries out. After this period of rest, put it back into the
tank.
